Still a favorite place to go for a single slice of pizza. The Big Slice combo doesn't come with a soda anymore, but still includes a side salad and one-topping choice (additional toppings are extra but worth it.) They also have a GIANT slice, but I tend to be full from the big. I always get Italian ranch with my salad and it's a good dressing choice. There are different specials every day of the week. The lasagna special for Sunday is delicious and baked to perfection. The restaurant has a good number of tables and the servers are friendly at this establishment that has been around for 50+ years.

This place has been going 50 years. I can see why! Small in size but huge in quality, servings and service. My recent first time visit with 3 friends. Michelle our server was outstanding. Will be here again. Go hungry!

Amazing Food, Great Value, Family Service! The DiPietro Family has been keeping Orange County WELL FED, for DECADES! Originally opened by patriarch, Nick DiPietro in a small space in La Palma, the eatery quickly expanded to locations in Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, and Costa Mesa. Serving up classic southern Italian specialties such as Spaghetti, Lasagna, and the best Chicken Parmigiana you've ever tasted, Pizza D' Oro has become an Orange County tradition. Years after their humble beginnings, the next generation of the DiPietro family are still serving up their fine fare at their cozy locations in CM and HB. The food is phenomenal, the prices are reasonable, and the family atmosphere is warm and inviting. The next time you're craving authentic Italian flavor, stop in and see Joe and the family at your nearest Pizza D'Oro. You won't be sorry!

Amazing pizzas. Definitely a go-to spot. We ordered the meat lovers and the white chicken Alfredo pizzas. They came out piping hot from the oven. Perfectly cooked. The pizza dough is so scrumptious. Do not waste the crust! Dip it in some ranch and your taste buds will thank you. They are perfectly soft and chewy. The meat lovers ingredients were generously plied to the pie, not too salty, not sparse. Just lovely deliciousness. The white pizza was equally delectable. Almost deep dish with sauce and plenty of spinach and breast meat chicken. Cute little spot. There are very few tables so be ready for a wait or get your meal to go and enjoy at home! Ample parking out front in this strip mall. My new fave pizza joint!

This is my all time favorite Italian place in Costa Mesa! This little mom and pop has been in business since 1977 and has the best Italian food at a great price! You can't a better deal or better service. It's cozy and has a warm fuzzy feeling for your tummy. There a ton of options for the finickiest of eaters. Whether you're a pizza, pasta or salad person, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. From the appetizers to the garlic bread and everything in between, the food is amazing! I am very partial to the pasta. This is the only place that I know that has pasta puttanesca as a regular menu item. That is one of the several house specialties that is one of my favorites. The seafood pastas are out of this world. You can order whole pizzas but you can get them by the slice. Their giant slices are as long your forearm. Nearly all menu items are served with with your choice of salad or the soup of the day and all come with toasty garlic bread. There are daily menu specials which discount the already affordable prices. Lunch specials are available every day of the week, including weekends. A kids menu is available for those 10 years and younger.

Love that this place exists. Came to the old location in fountain valley when Nick was still alive. This place is ran by the family. Still has same vibe, value, and taste. Thank you guys for keeping Nick alive through the restaurants.

Pizza!! Such a cute little pizza restaurant!! I had a slice of their spinach artichoke speciality, and it was delish. Also I tasted their fried artichokes, which were okay! The real star was the pizza. Service was great. Thank you much!

Went back today and the food and service were great! We got our usual fried zucchini with homemade ranch and a medium pizza with pepperoni, onion, garlic, jalapeno. We also appreciated the low corkage fee of $8 as we brought our own bottle of wine.

I was in the mood for pasta. I wanted to try a place that I haven't been. Pizza D'Oro kept coming up in a few searches. I ended up getting the Saturday special which was the garlic shrimp scampi, garlic bread, and Italian house salad. I was surprised by low prices for the high-quality food that you get. Most places are charging $7 to $10 more for similar menu items. I'm not sure if it's just being from Seattle or I expected to be more. I am not sure how they are able to keep there cost low. But it's a benefit to the community. As they've been in business for over 50 years and they have a lot of regulars. There's people nonstop walking in to get to go orders.
